    Information From IMDb

    Narrator:at the beginning
This is the range country where the pounding hooves of untamed horses
still thunder in mountains, meadows and canyons.
Every herd has its own leader, but there is only one Fury - Fury, King of the Wild Stallions.
And here in the wild west of today, hard-riding men still battle the open range for a living -
men like Jim Newton, owner of the Broken Wheel Ranch and Pete,
his top hand, who says he cut his teeth on a branding iron.

  • Fury (retitled Brave Stallion in syndication runs) is an American Western television series
that aired on NBC from 1955–1960, starring Peter Graves as Jim Newton
( who operates the Broken Wheel Ranch in California),
Bobby Diamond as Jim's adopted son, Joey Clark Newton,
and William Fawcett as ranch hand Pete Wilkey.
Roger Mobley co-starred in the three last seasons as Homer "Packy" Lambert, a friend of Joey's.

The frequent introduction to the show depicted the beloved stallion running inside the corral
and approaching the camera as the announcer reads:
"FURY!..The story of a horse..and a boy who loves him."
Fury was the first American series produced originally by Television Programs of America
and later by the British-based company ITC Entertainment.

Like Rin Tin Tin, and Lassie, one of my boyhood favourites.
Starring Pete Graves, brother of James Arness,
this is a classic all time boyhood series.
Like many others, filmed in familiar locations.

  • Here in the U.S. it was on Saturday mornings around 10:00 am so, we'd be up in time to watch it. Always wondered what happened to Bob Diamond. After the Fury years he kind of kicked around in other movies here and there and some tv. In his teens, he got real muscular from working out but, his career seemed to stall by the late 60's I don't remember seeing him in much after that.

Looked it up. Bobby Diamond got himself a law degree in 1971 and practices law in California, both criminal and civil. Guess he figured that was a more lucrative career.

  • Great fun to watch Fury! - Even as a grown-up who loves horses, I like it. O.K. Fury, like Lassie or Flipper, does things, no real animal would do, but he was great trained as a movie-horse.

I bought the whole collection on DVD and now I can watch the wonderful stallion´s adventures whenever I like to do...

"Never apologize. It´s a sign of weakness."
