    Welcome all newbies. I feel like a newbie myself. I havent posted much but joined when the original list started. I just updated my profile and signature.     I think most John Wayne fans have been introduced to John Wayne by the frequent reruns of his movies on TV.


    As long as his movies are broadcast and watched I think the strength and personality of the films will be enough to recruit fans.


    It is noticable that when a performers films cease to be shown that their popularity wanes.

    Hi, I recently found your site while looking for some John Wayne photos. I thought this might be a good place for advice to find what I'm looking for. I am trying to find a picture from True Grit. My late husbands favorite scene in the movie where he puts the reins of his horse in his mouth and has the shootout. Any ideas? I've looked on ebay but the one listed there is not a good clear picture. Thanks in advance.
