Oh my, so sorry to hear about Eddie Fisher. God Speed to him.

hehehehe. I am quite sure I will be watching it again myself.
I loved The Sea Chase. It is one I watch on a semi regular basis. Remember, Ladybug, while Duke played a German, he gave no leanings to the Nazi Party. So, that is only half as bad. lol

Okay, so I went home last night, made a big ole bowl of popcorn and sat down and watched The Sea Chase. I liked it. It was a little hard trying to imagine that he was actually supposed to be playing a german (as were all the others), but getting past that, I thought the story moved along well and I liked the progression of the romance between him and Lana. I enjoyed seeing Alan Hale, who has always been another actor I like. And, of course, my three dogs just HAD to go outside everytime the action was getting good. LOL! All in all, I enjoyed the film, not my favorite by far, but entertaining and I can NEVER get tired of watching him on screen. I also got Blood Alley for my birthday, so I'll be watching that one next.

Okay, well, since yesterday was my birthday...I found out something totally cool. The song by Earth Wind and Fire called Dancing in September starts the first line with "Do you remember the 21st night of September"!! So, yes, this song moves me because I now have a theme song for my birthday forever more. YEAH!!! (I know, I'm silly)

I would have to say the one song that evokes the most emotion from me lately is Jesus take the Wheel by Carrie Underwood. There are a lot of "things" going on in my life and at times I just want to give up and walk away from it all. When I'm in my Jeep and this song comes on I simply loose it and the water works flow. But, at the same time, the song also gives me hope that there is a better way and the path will be found.

I wish you a VERY speedy recovery friend. My father had to have both of his replaced due to a seizure, and it was not fun. *hugs*

Sitting in my office, waiting for the clock to reach 5:00 p.m., then it is home for an adult beverage (or three), some old movies on TCM, dinner and then bed. Wow, what an exciting life......

Peter Graves (Jim Phelps from "Mission: Impossible") passed away. Brother of James Arness....
OMG! I had no IDEA they were brothers!!! I used to love Mission Impossible and Gunsmoke for that matter. So much sad news lately.

Wishing you all the best and a speedy recovery.
