Spellbound with Gregory Peck and Ingrid Bergman - this was the first time I've ever seen this Hitchcock flick. And, man was it ever good. If you get a chance you should see it. ps - love the Goonies!!

My husband and I both have children of our own and they are all grown, so we don't do the "family" thing anymore. The biggest tradition the two of us have is going to pick out our Christmas tree. We always get a real tree. And no, we don't go into the woods to get it - we go to Lowes. I love the way it makes the house smell.

My mom and dad absolutely left presents unwrapped that came from Santa and my brothers and I would sneak downstairs before everyone else and play with the Santa gifts and go back to bed. My mom never could figure out why we were not really that excited! LOL!

My favorite "old" family tradition was when my dad would make a big fire in the fireplace and mom would get the oldtimey popcorn popper out that had a very long handle and we would pop bowls and bowls full of popcorn over the fire. Then, mom would put on the Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra Christmas albums and we would string popcorn for hours. When we had it all strung we would all help (mom, dad, me and my two brothers) to decorate the Christmas tree. And it just wasn't the same without finishing up the tree with gobs and gobs of shiney tinsel.

    Wow, the good ole days...

Not exactly a movie, but I have been watching Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer every year that I can possibly remember. I will never miss it. When I was around five years old - on Christmas Eve and just after watching this show, I was in my bed, which was situated right under the window and looked out and saw a red dot flying across the sky!!! I went screaming down the hall to wake everyone up to see Rudolph and Santa. Obviously, it was the light from a plane, but I didn't find that out until several years later!

Didn't you get the memo this morning that everyone was supposed to wear a bandana that matched someone else's shirt?! Gosh dern, you're just spoilin' it for the rest of us! Dang nabit!

I have been a fan of NASCAR and auto racing for many years. I am familiar with the origins of stock car racing and how it came to be in America. But I am interested to find out a little more about auto racing overseas.

I have watched the Formula 1 Grand Prix races televised from other countries, but do other countries have an auto racing association that is anything like NASCAR? And also, do other countries get to see the NASCAR races on television? Are they familiar with it and watch it? Or, could they really care less? I'd be interested to learn a little about your thoughts on this.

Okay, my favorite NASCAR driver was Dale Earnhardt. I now support his son, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. all the way.

I am loving every minute of it! I hope the next 40 years are even better than the first 40.

I have to tell you one of the gifts my other daughter got me (yes, I already opened it)....it was a small paperback book and the front reads - SEX AFTER 40 - and when you open it - all the pages are blank!!!! LOL. I just about peed my pants I laughed so hard.

Well, thanks again fellas. I'm so glad to have ALL of you as part of my day!

Watched Blackboard Jungle last night on TCM. Stars a young Glenn Ford and a very young Jamie Farr in a small role. Also, Sidney Poiter(sp). It was actually a pretty good movie - apparently a break out movie for studio, being done in black and white in the 50's.
