Hi there LT. See you listed Dino for Five Card Stud. I mentioned that a while back. I think I went to the movie and saw that about 10 times when I was young. LOVED it. I never hear it mentioned. Wonder why....thought it was a great movie. Need to see if I can find it somewhere. HAGO, KEITH

Honestly I find Dean Martin a pleasure in whatever he is in, and wish I could hang out with him. Five Card Stud as much as I love it, the twist in the story is maddeningly obvious leaving the best parts Dino and Mtchum's performances, and Hathaway's direction.

So here is my list as promised, I apologize for the length and any disruptions it may cause. I tried using spoiler tags, only to discover I couldn't find any.

You do raise a valid point. So hopefully you will accept a belated list of actresses

    Maureen O'Hara
    Lucille Ball
    Ella Raines
    Angelina Jolie
    Phylis Diller
    Dorothy Lamour
    Gail Russell
    Paulette Goddard

Trying to think of actresses is much harder than I thought it would be. Very few actresses have the iconic status that many of their male cohorts achieve so easily by comparison.

In a little while I am going to post my top 3 or 5 movies for each actor on my list, cause I think that would open things up for discussion.

Glad you're really enjoy it. Somehow it left me a bit numb. I enjoyed it but it was a bit 'fast food' for me. Tasty at the time but then you forget you even had it, lol!
I did enjoy the individual hero films more.

It was the perfect antidote to the grim, gritty, and the uber serious Dark Knight Rises. If I had any complaints it would have to be the threat which seemed very generic.

Anyway I bought me another Lee Van Cleef movie, "Blood Money".

So for my first posting after my laptop crashed and died about three weeks ago... I thought I would describe how I have been thoroughly enjoying Lee Van Cleef "spaghetti westerns".

I just can't get enough of Van Cleef. So far though, only the Grand Duel has been of watchable Picture and Audio Quality.

I have been thoroughly enjoying the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers box set I ordered. Many happy childhood memories are wrapped up in this ridiculously cheesy show. A lot of the episodes are formulaic, but man is it fun. It's bright, loud colorful, poorly acted and has the funny duo of Bulk and Skull. Lot's of smiles and laughs for me in this show.

Not sure how many people here actually care about Power Rangers, but if you were a child during the 90's or had 90's kids, you can't go wrong with these sets as gifts.

Mighty Morphin - Lost Galaxy 40 disc set

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The complete First Season

Or you can pick up the individual volumes from Amazon or maybe a local store of your choice

    MMPR: Season 1.1, Season 1.2

Time life offers installment payments, makes it easier for a slob like me to get stuff. For a 90's kid like me there is a lot of cool stuff coming out that would make for excellent Christmas gifts.

If I sound like an advertisement I apologize, but this set is a long awaited dream.

I finally got around to watching this and after reading about how slow and ponderous it was, I was amazed at how enjoyable the movie actually is. John Wayne and Japan is a combo that works surprisingly well. The only problem I had was how helpless John Wayne seemed when going up against that little guy. John Wayne is never helpless.
