That sounds pretty cool if you as me. As for myself, I have been digitizing my collection and putting them on hard drives that I can take with wherever I go and with a device hook them up to the TV.
Can give me more info on your set-up?

Watched The Gorilla starring the Ritz Brothers, Bela Lugosi, Lionel Atwill and the always funny Patsy Kelly.
I liked it! very entertaining! Amazing how we always love the Duke! Even when he's a bad guy!
I would disagree that Duke was the bad guy in this movie.. I would say that Bruce Cabot is the bad guy.
Saddened by Harry Morgan's death.
Lone Wolf McQuade w? Chuck Norris, L.Q.Jones, R.G.Armstrong, David Carradine and I cant think of the beautiful actresses name? who was his "squeese" in the movie.
I dont know why people on other sites knock Chuck Norris around but, I thought he did a great job in this and other movies.
That would be Barbara Carrera, who has also vexed Sean Connery.
Anyway, of 10-I give it a 10 anyway even though the movie didnt "feel" right. Im looking forward to any sequals made. The guy who played Spock did a real good job, Kirk was decent, Uhura was OK but not in Nichols league, "Scotty" was well done, and the guy who was Captain Christopher Pike, I thought was excellent. As for Sulu-he was ok, but I didnt care for the new version of the Checkov character.
Hands down the best character in the movie was McCoy, that guy had the act down pat. And you might not care, but he was in Lord of the Rings as well.
Chekov was easily the most disappointing interpretation on the movie, right behind Sarek (Played by Ben Cross) who came of as far too cold and boring.
Anything Leonard Nimoy is in gets a pass from me.
Bill McKinney who delivered the immortal line "squeal like a pig" in Deliverance has died.
I remember him best from the Shootist.
I FINALLY, broke down and bought the new Star Trek movie-but because it was on sale for $5.50. Will be seeing it after completing season 1 of: Baa Baa Black Sheep.
It's more Star Wars than Star Trek, and aside from the fact that it's nonsensical at times it's a fun popcorn flick.
It seems a big shame that im guessing none fo the TV series cast had even cameo roles in it. To me, Mr. T. and Peppard and Schultz made the show and Benedict was OK, not my favorite of the four.
Schultz and Benedict appear but Mr. T does not. Here's what T. has to say on the subject.
QuoteHe said it wasn't about money, because he turned down the chance to appear in the film before that was even discussed. He said it just wouldn't be right for him to be in it. If his B.A. isn't the main guy, then why do it? What's wrong with the film that they need him to make a cameo? Plus they would market the film with him being in it, and he didn't want his friends and family to think he would have some big role when he wouldn't. He told me he has nothing against the cast or even the fact that they're doing a remake. But a cameo is just something he wasn't interested in.
The A-Team movie is basically am origin story, and has virtually none of the elements of the TV series. Well except for them flying a tank...
The best part is Liam Neeson as Hannibal Smith, the worst part is the entire movie in that if the characters weren't named for the TV series it could be a generic Betrayal/Action story.
So see it if you don't mind stupid action, but skip it if you are expecting the characters to be true to the series.
HI!
The beauty of watching the Duke is that He was such a great actor that you could Believe that was really him! In most of his movies, i felt that could really be him! ( the person he was portraying)! I didn't get that feeling watching his cop movies. Not bad movies, just not high on my list.
The only movies I feel that John simply wasn't believable in are Dark Command and The Conqueror.
As for Brannigan, I totally believed that John Wayne could be that cop, and besides that, his chemistry with Richard Attenbrough is the highlight of the movie. Despite all that he had gone through John Wayne was never less than completely believable as a threat to criminals.
It would have been better is he had done this movie in the late 50's early sixties, but westerns were still his bread and butter.
I had not seen it but, gimme Lon Chaney Jr, as the Wolfman--anytime anyday.
Interestingly enough, Benecio Del Toro does favor Lon Chaney Jr. enough that it made me wonder if that was why he was cast in the first place.
The coolest thing about the movie is that with only one or two notable exceptions the Monster is a practical effect and only slightly enhanced with CGI. Rick Baker did an awesome job.
Jim, it is, but some will argue they did not.
However in the profile it says it all, well nearly!
Well carry on then, and just ignore the harmless babbling man in the corner.
Well yes, he most probably did!!
and it's all here:-
Pals Of The Saddle- Marlene Dietrich
Actually, I thought that this was confirmed. I will have to dig out my John Wayne books again to check.
I guess I have a clip somewhere. I think he was there while filming BRANNIGAN in London. It was very funny. As I recall joking about his toupet (''It is hair. Not my hair but it is hair..'') and stuff.
I know that he pulled that line out at Harvard....
The Wolfman (2010), it was enjoyable, but unsatisfying.
They took the wrong approach, and made it more campy than it needed to be. And Danny Elfman's score just didn't cut it for me.
it was ok. I thought he was too old to play that type of a cop.
It would be helpful if you would be more descriptive of your reasons for not really liking the movie.

This means that "Yellow Ribbon" is destined fora Blu-Ray release, but it has no bearing on Rio Grande as that's owned by Lionsgate.
