Hi, thanks for the replies. I never did find the Oscar video I saw earlier this year, but I
did find one thing interesting. In the Chisum trailer it shows Duke getting an award which I believe is his Oscar. Whatever I saw was an extended version of that segment from the trailer. It showed him leaving with the award, and I believe it showed him with Ethan outside the awards. It might have been a youtube video I am not sure. If you want to see the Chisum trailer you can see it at link below:

Hi, I didn't notice this utube video posted. It is called Ringo and features Duke, and Roy Rogers. I thought it was real original, and fun to watch.
Here is the internet address: YouTube - Ringo

Sometime during the past year I saw a John Wayne video in which Duke receives his Oscar, and you see him walking off with it , and I believe the music from Chisum is playing. I might have seen it as a DVD extra, or on tv, but I thought I saw it on youtube.
I can't locate this video. If anybody is familiar with this video , and knows where it is on the internet please let me know.

    Thanks! - Billy

Dumb Question for anybody with with film knowledge. - Can't they make a restored version from the directors cut on VHS? I watched a special on how they restored Daniel Boone tv shows by copying it to a computer , and editing the sound and pictures on a computer. Like a previous poster said you can copy the vhs to dvd, or to a dvr harddrive. It seems like they could use computer software to clean it up once they got it copied to the computer harddrive. If they can make computer animated life like dinosaurs, and color black and white movies seems like they could do that. I can't think of another movie that deserves a special edition more then the Alamo. Thanks for reading!

Hi, just wanted to let you guys know Hardcastle and McCormick is on Dvd. But they only released it in Canada, but you can find it on Ebay. I read about it on tvshowsondvd.com.
They are suppose to release Galactica 1980 later this year . It only lasted 1 season. I wish They would release Daktari, and Mayberry RFD on dvd.
I wish they would also release McCloud Season 3 on dvd - "There you go"

Hi again, thanks for all the greeting messages.I got my Rawhide Season 2 DVD at Meijers Department store. I also saw it listed on Walmart's website. It only has the 1st 16 episodes. The rest of season 2 will be released later I read. I watched a few more episodes since I first posted this and I saw Paul Fix, Vera Miles, and John Agar in some of the other episodes. I also saw the guy Duke gets in a fight with at the top of the muddy hill in McClintock. Did you all know that Sheb Wooley who plays Pete Nolan on Rawhide sung the original "Purple People Eater song". I would have never made that connection until I stumbled over it on the internet.
Does anyone know what the deal is with Circus World? I don't understand why they havn't released it on DVD. It isn't a lost movie. They never show it on TV ether.

    Thanks for reading!

Hi, this is my first post here. I have been reading this boards for a couple years, but anytime I find something interesting to contribute someone has already posted it.
Anyhow some of you might want to check out Rawhide Season 2 part 1 that came out today. Victor McLauglen is the main guest star in the fourth episode. The fourth episode is also directed by Andrew McLauglin. Harry Carey Jr also has a small part in it also.
The episode is called Incident of the Shambling Man. Its about a boxer. That is all I will say. I don't want to ruin it for you. I just thought some of you might like to know this.
I enjoy watching Duke's ex-costars.I had never seen this show before today. Thanks for reading!
