I'm watching Dakota right now. Bond was a great bad guy. He was really good in Tall in the Saddle too. I think he is/was a very underrated actor.

I watch the Western channel a lot. They show many good lesser name westerns. One that I like is Robber's Roost. It start George Montgomery and Richard Boone.

I think Ward Bond is the best character actor of all time. He was versatile and very good.

I'd have to to with The Quiet Man. I too have the soundtrack and like it very much.

I like Vera Miles who played with Duke in The Seachers, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence, and Hellfighters.

I also like Gail Russell and Ella Raines (bea-u-ti-ful!).

I had always heard of John Wayne, but had never seen any of his movies until my father-in-law introduced me to them. He had so many of JW's movies on tape and watched them that I have now become a bigger fan than his is and have more movies taped.
