Jay, my grandma had that done years ago. She said she wished she would have done it sooner after it was done. Get well soon and listen to the doctors and nurses!!!

Went to the new Robin Hood movie with Russell Crowe with the family on Friday night. We all though it was a good movie. Really enjoyed the story and action.
-
I watched it till last year, just found that I didn't have the time. I will have to rent the last 2 season's to finish it up.
Don't wreck it for me Hondo!! HEHEHEHEHEHE!! -
I like Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig. I will say that I am interested in seeing this movie. Little "out there", I hope it is a good movie.

I do not like the looks of the outfit they put him in.............
That being said, has anyone seen on the Encore Western channel the commercials for the John Wayne weekend at the end of the month? There was a clip of Steven Spielberg taking about Duke and even he said that once a character had been portrayed by Duke, it would be really difficult for anyone else to play that character or imagine anyone else in that role. I thought that was quite interesting hearing Speilberg say that. -
Have a good time everyone that will be attending. We are right in the middle of building our house so I am not going to be able to get away. Maybe next year..........

Slash's new album, Airbourne's new album, and Scorpions last album before they retire. all are excellent rock music. Especially the Slash album. He out did himself on that CD.

From the more that I keep reading on this project the more I get interested. I have never read nor heard of the graphic novels before but the cast, director, writers and producers sure have peaked my interest.

Well it was staged but the Sand of Iwo Jima joke was quite funny about his gardener.

You may be right, Todd.
I can't understand why the American people don't see that it's not about the health care issue, it's about taking away our freedom. The government is demanding that everyone have health care which means paying for it or be fined. FINED! That doesn't sound like a choice, it sounds like communism to me. And that may mean going to jail if you don't pay for health care. The bill hasn't been defined but I heard they are taking at first 25% of your pay for this "privilege" of having health care. That's doesn't include federal income tax, state income tax, sales tax, property tax, or any other tax you can think of.
Oh, by the way, Obama is having the Senate and House to bring up Cap and Trade Bill on Wednesday and voted on by this weekend. Do you know what that means? Additional taxes on your energy like electricity, water, gas, gasoline, telephone (including cell phone), and entertainment. This bill is suppose to increase your bills 75% for this year and double next year. Obama says we need to live like a third world country. That is his definition of sharing the wealth! You asked for change, you got it. Hope you like it!
Cheers
As much as health care is going to hurt. Cap and Trade will be far worse in the short term. Any recovery that our econmoy may be in, which I really don't believe we are in a recovery, its all smoke and mirrors, anyways. Cap and Trade will be more damaging to the USA then the health care bill. It will literally cripple the economy and anything that has to do with transportation of goods and services. I hope people yank there heads out of there butts this fall and vote these jokers out because they are just plain flat out wrong. -

The hardest part to swallow is the burden that has been placed on future generations to pay for this massive pile of doo-doo. Now, I don't deny that health care needs to have some changes but the government is the last place that should be making them changes. They are not suppose to be making these types of decisions, in my opinion. Just like the government should not be bailing out the car companies and banks.

Thanks guys, I will try to send "progress photos". Depending on the spring though, we might not be able to start anytime soon. We still have a lot of snow on the ground here in southern Minnesota. We really didn't expect or home to sell so fast so it was as much of a surprise to us as anyone else. We put it on the market to get a head start on the spring buyers and low an behold someone swooped in and gave us a offer that we couldn't refuse.

Just wanted to drop a quick note to say I haven't died or anything :). We sold our house about 3 weeks ago, it was on the market for a total of 3 weeks(I guess the housing market isn't too bad in Minnesota). So we have been packing up and moving stuff to storage and then moving into a home to rent. We are building a new house, which we hope to be in around August/Sept of this year. I will be around more in the coming month as we will finally be done moving for now and settled into or rental home. Talk to you all later.

Actually the prices have been dropping quite rapidly lately for the Blu-Ray players. You can easily find one for under a $100 us. Check out Tiger Direct for weekly delas. Also, keep an eye out for Blu-Ray discs, I picked up "The Searchers" for $9 at Sams Club about 6 months ago. The problem is, you need a hi-def TV to get the full benefits of Blu-Ray. That is were you will spend your greatest amount of money. But even hi-def TV's have been dropping in price and if size is not a issue you can get 32-40 inch TV's for $500-$900 dollars if you look around.

Cool website, thanks.

Hi bob, I heard froma few good friends of mine who live in the UK, that you cant now even get non-guns there. I just bought a "german" MP-40 Submachinegun. No worries to anyone-you can't make this baby fire even air. But, this think is all-metal and can still crack open someonew skull if you used it as a club ;-)) Seriously though, I stay away from stuff like this but needed a WWII German SMG for a display im making which is many years in the works and still a few years from completion.
Where did you find one of those and how much did it cost Ringo? -
I won't disagree with the pricey part of it, for the coming future. But, there is a big push for it from Hollywood and the TV broadcasting companies. The amount of 3D movies coming up this year should be quite noticeable and ESPN will be starting a new channel that will broadcast 85 sporting events in 3D this year. The new BluRay players will all come compatible to play the new bluRay 3D format as well. The biggest thing that they say they have accomplished is the fatigue and eye soreness that the red/blue lens glasses used to have in common. I am not standing up for 3D and shouting it's merit's but I don't think it will be a fad at all. Have you seen Avatar in 3D yet?? I did and was totally blown away and impressed. That same technology that the theaters use will be what the new TV's coming into people's home's will have. Will I go out and buy one right away? I am pretty sure that is a great big no, it's just really cool to see this tech coming to our homes.
