I was born in 1967.

I bought the new Pirates of the Caribbean DVD last fall and it came with 2 DVDs. A regular DVD and a Blue-Ray disc. This is the manufacturer's way of telling us that our DVD players are about to expire and we might need to invest in a Blue-Ray player. lol

My wife and I rented "Wyatt Earp's Revenge" with Val Kilmer in the role of Earp. All I'll say on the matter is to save your $1. Its not worth it.

I watched Cahill: US Marshall the night before last. I love the scene where he walks right into the outlaw's camp, he's outnumbered 5 to 1, and he tells them he's here to accept their surrender.

Warm in the Northeast (high 70s and low 80s). We're expecting thunderstorms this evening.

Hi Bill, I've been away from the boards for quite a while too. I live up in northeastern PA, just north of Scranton, but I have family who live in Philadelphia - not far from Bensalem.
-
I watched Crazy Heart with Jeff Bridges. Overall, I liked the picture but was a bit disappointed with the ending. Still, its a solid film.

The Steelers play the Ravens today at 4pm. Go Steelers! Crush the Ravens!

Nancy always reminded me of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz staring blankly off into space all the while clicking the heels of her ruby red slippers while quoting, "there's no place like home. there's no place like home". When God handed out brains in Heaven, I think Pelosi was cheated.

I watched "Shiloh Falls" the other night on DVD. It was made by London Films starring mostly English actors with American accents. If that wasn't bad enough, what started out as a father and son trying to catch a pack of murdering thieves turned into aliens possessing outlaws through some old Indian artifact. Just a plain horrible movie. Don't watch it.
-
I would also add, "The Pacific" and "Band of Brothers" to this list.
-
I want to see it. Jeff Bridges played a good part in Crazy Heart. I'll probably wait for it to come out in DVD though; I can't stand sitting in movie theaters much anymore.
-
I just watched "The War Wagon" with John Wayne and Kirk Douglas. Didn't like Kirk Douglas much in this role.
-
This weekend, I watched The Magnficent Seven, Big Jake and The Shootist.

I live in a predominately black neighborhood and I've seen for myself the change in attitudes towards whites who disagree with President Obama. Originally, my wife and I supported the President but we began to have some questions concerning several of his policies. Our questions were responded to by our neighbors not with answers but with rhetoric such as "what? you don't like him anymore?" or "did we go back to being Republicans?" Our neighbors have now stopped talking to us. Teens walk by our house and point out to their friends that this is where 'those people' live and my son is being harrassed at his bus stop.
What the hell happenned to America?
To answer their questions:
(1) We never said we didn't like the man, as a person, but we do disagree with his policies. That is our right, as Americans, to do so. It ain't about race; it's about policy.
(2) Actually, yes, we did go back to the Republican Party but that's nobody's business but our own.
(3) We are now looking to move. My son hates going to his school and after meeting some of his classmates, I can understand why. They are a narrow-minded bunch. You can't disagree without being politically correct. What a crock.
I served in the US Navy for 20 years with every race, creed, color and religion there is. I have friends of every persuasion and I consider myself to be much more tolerant of the differences of others than these crazy liberals are. To be called a 'racist', to me, by people who don't know the meaning of the word is just insulting. -
Howdy, pilgrim. Welcome to the range!

These are definitely my kind of people. Maybe I'll move.
God Bless the South!
I spent 20 years in the Navy and the vast majority of my close friends were all Southerners. They are all good fighters and aren't afraid to tell it like it is. I wouldn't go into a war without them at my side.
I ran into ACORN during last years election. I knew that they were shady but I didn't know how shady until later. They were rightly accused of fraudulent voter registration in Philadelphia but they just got a slap on the wrist.
The two videos now being shown on FoxNews are serious accusations for it shows them misusing government funds, not only to set up a brothel for prostitution, but to smuggle in sex-slaves from Ecuador and minor children at that.I read recently that the Census Bureau has now officially cut ties to ACORN and that members of Congress are asking for inquiries into their activities.
I wonder how much longer the Obama Administration is going to cover for these thieves?

Those were really great posters! Thank you for sharing them.
