I watched the Shootest on tv and than I watched Rio Lobo from my cd's as usual.
I watch Rio Lobo over and over. Today I am going to watch another John Wayne movie that I watch over and over. That movie is El Dorodo. I am a happy camper!

December 30,1949. The Duke has been my hero for as long as I can remember. Nobody compares to him.

Weird N was low toJ weather. Its been in the 90's alot but at least the humidity was low yesterday. mid 80's for Monday.

Rio Bravo. I have itr on CD and I can not tell you how many times I have watched it. The Duke, Dean Martin, Walter Brennen, Angie Dickensen, and Ricky Nelson made a great combination. The movies they make today just do not compare.

The last one that I watched eas Rio Bravo. The combination of the Duke, Dean Martin, and Walter Brennen is great. I like ALL John Wayne movies but this one is my favorite

Thank you for the info in regards to Ward Bond. I was a bit down when Ward Bond and the others walked off to who noes what. Perhaps a prison camp or worse.When I was in the service we had a teck. Sgt who was on the Bataan Death march. He was not all there and I felf sorry for him.

A great movie. Robert Montgomery was a Lt. Commander during WW3.
John Wayne played his wonderful self. Who wouldn't like to have a fling with Donna Reed. Ward Bond has too small a part. I think he is great also.

This is in NJ you would of thought I live in Arizona or Texas. I guess we should just be glad we are here to enjoy ANY weather.

The last western I watched was Rio Bravo. John Wayne was my favorite person in th e movie but Dean Martin was super as Dude. Who also cannot like Walter Brennen in any movie. Angie Dickensen was beautiful. I do wish Ward Bond had a larger role. He was killed off way too soon.

A really great Duke movie! It reminds me of the way our country USED to be! I am very sick of everyone always trying to be politically correct.
We need more people like the Duke was. I am becoming quite concerned about the way our country is heading. Sorry for preaching but I am very concerned.
