Re: " Wagon Train"- The Colter Craven Story (1960)
    Hi

Although it's very wrong to say it Wagon Train in my case was the best thing in the world for bringing on sleep. Every Monday night I would stay up to watch it, fall asleep just after the opening credits and wake up as the final credits were played -it never failed.

    Regards

Re: the above __________________ I never thought of using it to go to sleep with, I enjoyed every show.

Boyd Magers does "Western Clippings" which can be looked up on the Internet and he had a piece a while back about Lorne Greene home which has been bought and restored. I also found this during a search so it is being opened to the public and is located in Meza AZ. Bonanza fans can visit Lorne Greene's Ponderosa. This event will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the house warming party where in 1963 Lorne and Nancy Greene hosted fellow Bonanza actors Michael Landon and wife Lynn, Dan Blocker and wife Dolphia and Bonanza creator David Dortort to the real house based on the Ponderosa set at Paramount Pictures.

Newbie on here but old enough to have seen most of Johns movies when they first came out. Born in 1940 if that tells you anything. John stood tall for what he believed in and let you know up front where he stood. Did not start a fight but didn't back down either. Man's man and treated the ladies even the saloon girls like ladies. Didn't have to use cuss words to get his point across either. Clean, direct and loyal to his friends, we can all learn from that in this day and age.
