Sgt. Major O"Rourke, Rev. Capt. Samuel Clayton, and Cmdr. Pop Perry from Operation Pacific. Those are my top three!

Yeah! I'll give it that Nordy! Atleast it wasn't a quickie western. That's one of the reasons I bought the set. The other four were much more entertaining. Hopefully the lost one ( adventures End ) shows up someday!

Of those five universal films , this is probably the weakest one of the bunch. Could have done without the dopey brother and the monkey. Its OK, but that's all I can give it.

Hi Irish Duke! Well, I just happened tp be cruising on the net one night and I stumbled on to a sight called I OFFER. COM to see what they had. There was a private seller who had a lot of Weird old seldom seen movies on his sight. But he also had these five JW movies from the thirties! ( only those five from universal) Burned copies, but in pretty good shape! You can bid on them. He puts out his price, you can come in with a lower bid, go back and forth. I got them for thirty bucks! three discs, two movies on two of them, one alone. No regrets! later, bill

I recently bought all the five movies Duke made with Universal in the thirties. They are a nice change from the quickie westerns. All of them were copies from another copy. Still, glad i got them! I especially liked this one! Its a role iv'e never seen Duke play before, a con man, fake boxer! First movie i ever saw him adopt a kid! HAWKSWILL! You'd enjoy this one! Watching the Duke slug it out in the ring with Ward Bond! Check it out if you can find it!

I totally agree with that review. One of the best movies he made in the sixties! I really enjoyed this film! ( a lot better then that monkey movie he made) I only wish
the ending wasn't so sad. I don't like sad endings.

I agree with you Duke, the oldest ones were the best. They were the funniest ones!
The others were great, but they all seemed to have a story or a message to bring, were the old ones were just plain funny. Loved it! I did think though that the show took a dip when Radar left it, it kida left a gap there for me. Klinger, I was not all that crazy about.

This one stood out with me! A little better then his average B western! Music was better, Get to watch Gabby Hayes as a Bad Guy! I kinda liked it! A little different from the rest of them!

Im starting to watch some of the old ones, My kids gave me a tin can full of these old ones for Christmas. Mostly westerns, but this one was iin it. Have to admit, it wasn't bad! Not often you'll see the wealthy playboy type changing a tire at a gas station!

It would be great if one of us could just find a way ( fit that certain criteria of doing research) to get into the viewing room at the LOC and see this movie! Then, report back to us if were missing anything good or not! I'm starting to watch some of the old movies, hafta admit, some of them aren't that bad.
