The Devil's Brigade! Great movie! He was great in war movies, always seem to have a small part though. Didn't see a lot of what he did, but what i saw was good.

Its too bad somone doesn't pick up more of these old shows, ( like AMC, or the Western channel ). I haven't seen this one in years. Bonanza is on every day, and you can find Gunsmoke too. AMC has the Rifleman, but that's about it here in the Colonies! Might see more across the pond!

Its definetly on the list of my top ten! Maybe five!

What happen to this guy who calls himself : The BARON Von Rassillon? I've read alot of his notes from the past. Anybody herd from him?
-
This one and Donovan's Reef, silly, corny, humor. Stories were kinda DRAB. Mclintock was funny! He wasn't at his best in a comedy role. Thats my opinion, for what little its worth. Don't know what you all see in it!

Well, atleast we can say he made a movie with Charlton Heston!

Its sad to see how BIG we are, and yet so few are active regulars. It would be great to hear from some of these Vetrans of the Core! I know it would probably be a lot of work, but to bad a note can't go out to everyone like say: every six months saying,
haven't herd from you in a while! drop us a line! just a thought. -
Sure! Why not?

I really liked him in the movie: The flight of the Phoenix! Great movie! Sorry, i know its not a western.
-
Macarthur! ONE of his greatest performances! The scarlet and the Black! Awesome! I liked the Omen too even though it got bad reviews.

what movie do you think was worst then that one Dooley?

A modern movie to me is something that came out in the 80's or 90's! Very few movies today that i would waste my time on! I take that back, i did keep up with the Clint Eastwood movies. Did anyone happen to see that series on the History channel: The Hatfields and the Mcoys? I missed it due to work. Herd it was pretty good.

I felt the same way about the Green Mile with Tom Hanks. The first few times i started watching it i couldn't get more then half way. Its kinda long. But one day, i sat myself down and said I'm going to finish this movie! I'm glad i did! At first it seemed like a child abuse movie, and i can't watch that kind of a movie. So i say to you Hondo and Ringo, when u have the time, try Dances with Wlves again! Pick it up half way into the movie where you left off. You may change your mind! I believe you should see a movie completley befoe making a judgement on it. Of course, thats just me and my thinkin! Bill

My wife watches movies on the Lifetime channel. Oh my God! I'd rather cut my throat with a razor so the ambulance can get me out of the room!

Dances with wolves? Are u kiddin me? That was a great movie!

Great war movie! One of my favorites!

Hi Gorch! Hi Dooley! see what your saying about Blue Ray. I say, hats off to you if you want to make the change! My question, what if something comes out in a few years better then Blue Ray? Are you going to update your movies again? See my point? Where does it stop?

I don't have any intention of switching over either! Unless someday i have to! I am glad i swithed from VHS to DVD, Quality is much better and they take less room! I am curious though, Is there a easy way to see what is available on JW on blue ray? and what is coming out in the future? I'd be curious to see how long it will take to convert his movies to blue ray. Some will never make it i'm sure!
