have to agree nothing will ever compete with the dukes version of this. I skipped this movie even though I love Jeff Bridges and the little girl Hailee Steinfeld has a big career ahead of her. but in a way I feel like the Cohen brothers disrespected Duke by remaking this

this wasn't the first time Duke had presented a major award either that would be when he presented Joanne Woodward the best actress oscar in 1958 which I think I posted that video in here before didn't I and even said it was sweet how he hugged her as she was coming up to the stage almost trying to comfort her for what hse and paul had gone through weeks earlier losing their first child

I wouldn't call Paul Classless he just let his political ideals get the better of him and lost a dear friend in the process that's all and sadly never had a chance to make up with Heston as heston died almost six months before him

which has a special screening coming up at The Westport Country Playhouse
An Evening With
Butch & The Gang

The Hole in the Wall Gang CampTuesday, January 26, 2010
7PM
Tickets: $50
A portion of each ticket purchase is tax-deductible.
"An Evening With Butch & The Gang" will gather new and old Camp friends for some Wild West fun featuring a screening of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The celebration will kick-off with highlights of Camp's growing services.
Founded by Paul Newman in 1988, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is a nonprofit, residential summer camp and year-round center in Ashford, Connecticut serving children and families coping with cancer and other serious illnesses and conditions. In addition to its signature summer camping experience, the Camp offers programs from fall through spring for campers, their families and healthcare professionals, serving a total of 15,000 children annually. Through our year-round Hole in the Wall Gang Camp Hospital Outreach Program, our Outreach Specialists bring the joy and healing of Camp right to the bedsides of seriously ill children in hospitals from New York to Boston. All of the Camp's services are provided free of charge. It is through the generosity of many friends that the programs of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp are made possible.

Mine is a still from the movie Philadelphia which is one of my favorite films ever made by the way and the particular scene is the family meeting during the parents 40th anniversary party to the left is father Bud in the middle is Mother Sarah portraited flawlessly by Joanne Woodward and to the right is pregnant Sister Jill with her husbands arm around her shoulders
-
mine is a picture of a proudly prego Sarah Michelle Gellar who I believe to be one of those women who are more beautiful when they're with child and thank god she hasn't had to go through the heartache some other beautiful women have over the years losing one or multiple pregnancies
-
