It's been reported that Peter Breck, Nick Barkley from The Big Valley, has died (March 13, 1929 -February 6, 2012). I always liked him in all his roles, especially BV, and his Doc Holliday on Maverick.

Actor Peter Breck died in hospital Monday after a lengthy illness.

His fan site says he passed away from an undisclosed illness but had been suffering from dementia.

The Rochester, New York born Breck moved to Vancouver in the mid-80's and ran the Breck Academy Actor's School.

His most famous role was that of "Nick Barkley," co-starring with Barbara Stanwyck in the "Big Valley" TV show.

Gonna miss this guy. I always thought he was pretty good actor, and I always enjoyed watching Big Valley.

Always liked Brecks style. Always the rugged, no holds barred type. First time I remember seeing him was in his first tv series, Black Saddle, where he played a gunfighter turned lawyer.

Singer-actress Whitney Houston has died of an undisclosed cause at 48. For the last bunch of years she had fought drug abuse, plus her tumulrtous marriage to singer Bobby Brown. Great voice now silenced.

I was stunned when I read she died but when you think of it for a minute it's not too surprising.

What a waste of talent.

saw her on tv few weeks ago she looked great...maybe her ticker gave out due to the rough years she went through RIP Whitney
