Some teams win and improve, others don't
England, Italy, France and Germany are not looking good,
the South Americans are looking real good!!I totally agree with you.
Lippi was wrong with 4.4.2 module for the first time,
and for more Italy didn't finalize, for nothing.Disappointing from all points of view.

Hi
France appear to be in meltdown but thats not a bad thing, I agree with the experts that this is the strangest World Cup ever with possibly England France Italy and although difficult to believe even Germany might not get through the early rounds.

WELL DONE
UNITED STATES and ENGLAND
For reaching the last 16 of the tournament.
United States topped the group.
with England runners up!A much improved England side, and about time!
-
well played england but really well done USA - i m so pleased they are through. Great goal Landon Donovan - I cheered more when he scored than when england scored. Hopefully we can both go on and do something now
Great afternoon for both of us - thought jermaine defoe played well too -
Really happy for USA and England both,
looking for Italy v Slovakia tomorrow. -
Well Done USA & England on reaching last 16!!

Both our team and England will be more concentrated on Sunday...
- and we will win, our young team needs some success they can look back upon the next months -

Hi Juniormike
looking for italy to join us now as well Flaca - good luck against Slovakia
Badger, thank you very much for your thinking.
Unfortunately Italy is out and sincerely it played badly.
But a goal was revoked, while the experts said that it was a valid one.
Anyway,it wasn't Italy as 4 years ago,for nothing.Today it was its worst match never seen. -
Italy are not alone amongst the big teams in going home early and we are only through by the skin of our teeth. Good luck tonight to the USA. I would love to see them progress
-
Good luck tonight to the USA also from me.

Good luck tonight to the USA also from me.
Unfortunately the good luck ran out,
the result wasUnited States 1- Ghana 2
and after extra time!!
The States probably could have played a little better,
against a fair Ghanaian side.
At least there is still an African side left to fight the cause! -
Unlucky USA - Ghana played well though and just about deserved the win. i think they re becoming the fun team of the tournament.

Today is the one!!
ENGLAND v GERMANY
Tough one to call,
but come on England!!! -
i m feeling nervous already
-
GERMANY 4 ENGLAND 1
Well, well, well, what can you say,
England's worst ever World Cup defeat.
The team were a complete and utter shambles,
against a very useful German team.
Germany should have scored more,
and apart from a very bad decision
disallowing an obvious England goal.
Germany blasted England off the pitch.Shame on your over-paid, pathetic excuse for footballers!!!
-
Hi
Unfortunately the disallowed goal will shroud the fact that England were pathetic.
Capello must take 100% blame, and his talk after the game showed a man who has no idea of what he is doing.
Before the match I wouldn't have played Rooney as it is obvious that he is either not fit or not interested.
The minute that Ferdinand was injured Terry should have been giving the captaincy as he is a leader and that is what England didn't have leadership on or off the field
With England three one down and Rooney not firing who does capello bring on Crouch 6-5" tall with a proven goal record or Heskey who hasn't scored a goal in fifty years yes you've guessed it Heskey.
enough said

Disallowed goal, another time, like it was for Italy several times.
Very disappointed for England,
but sincerely,Germany played very well.
Anyway, it was 4-2 and not 4-1.
It remains,to hope for the next World Cup. -
