  • Hi

Yet another of the Dukes co-workers leave us.
Sam Edwards passed away on July 28 aged 89

He had appeared in Operation Pacific (1951)

Better known working for Disney he supplied the voice of the adult Thumper in Bambi and although he didn't voice Tigger in Winnie The Pooh he did sing The Wonderful thing about tiggers on record.

He was also in The Viginian as Hank, Mr Anderson the banker in Little house on the Prarie.

    RIP

    Regards

    Arthur

  • I remember him only as the banker on "Little House." But I appreciate your keeping us informed of these kinds of happenings, Arthur!

  • oh Wow! I remember him in The Viginian as Hank, I didn't realize that was the man's real name. He was really good. He will be missed. I also didn't realize he was that old. He had a good life and if he was in a movie with Duke he was with real class.

    RIP Sam

    Cheers B)
