I differ from you, Kevin, in my opinion of Hondo. I liked it very much and loved getting the blue ray version of it when it came out.

I am shocked that money grubbing Hollywood still hasn't released this film in a 3D DVD. I know it would sell. Like I said many posts and years ago, I saw this in 3D on TV in the early 90's. But I think it would look awesome on our Big Screen TV's today! We can only hope they change their minds in the near future.

I too remember watching the 3D on TV. I actually recorded it on VHS, I know that it is not 3D but I still have it. The last time I watched it I remember it still had some of the 3D elements to it, as long as you used the blue and red glasses you needed to use in those days. It would look awesome on a big screen TV. I also would like to see it released on BluRay.

I have not been on here very long, but have been a J.W. fan since I can remember. I will turn 75 in Jan. and still remember going to the theater every time a new movie came out. In 1954 I was 10 and saw the High and The Mighty. For a year or more after I would whistle the theme song. As of now I have collected 140 of his movies on DVD, and several TV, special appearances and Documentaries. I know that there are still more out there that I haven't acquired yet, but I will keep looking. I used to think I was the biggest J.W. fan, but after finding this site, I see he has quite a lot of big fans.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all
