As expected of all post war kids, our favorite cowboy was John Wayne. I own all of his western movies and have studied them in depth since The Three Godfathers in 1948. When I studied The Legend of the Lost I found that he was NOT using his Colt SAA. The IMFDB movie base says he used a Itallian 1889 Bodero with a very rounded bottom of the grip. There are many views of his gun in the movie and the bottom of the grip is FLAT. Does anyone know for sure what gun he used? Thanks Alan
