She was in great form at the time...she had just turned 70 and looked terrific ans she was very nice...Candy took great care of her and the story that he gave her his trailer was true...and stopped produtin for like 2 days till that all got straightened out..Anthony Quinn was a real pro and nice man...Belushi's nuts...But he's around Chicago all the time...Candy was nice...quiet...smoked like a fiend...The house he and Ms Ohara "ived" in is about 1/2 block away from the tavern where the scenes were shot..I think it was called O'Neals in the film. Those 2 locations are 3 blocks south of Wrigley Filed....Home of the 1908 National League Champs...and they aint done nothin since....:ohwell:..And yes it was my understanding the script was written with her in mind....Those were the days before cell phones, phone cameras etc..IF only I had taken some pictures !!! Have a good weekend...Out tonite for a Irish
    Viagra....(Bushmills) Ha Ha !! Be well....TJ The Lawman:cowboy:

Romy.....Nice post...Just to make you a little green with envy...I worked Security on that Movie and spent almost 3 weeks at the sets..with Maureen O Hara..John Candy,Anthony Quinn and Ally Sheedy..John Candy was obsessed with taking care of Ms.O'Hara..really liked her.....All exceptionally nice people...already 21 years ago...hard to believe...:holiday_irish:.....Have a good weekend......TJ "The Lawman"

Hello All !! And Alamo..you are correct..That jump was done by Stuntman Jim Burk...longtime western stuntman..who passed away last year at his Montana ranch...If your wondering who he is : Watch Big Jake in the begining..He is "Trooper" the backshooter...Also in The Undefeated he is the one who fight Merlin Olsen at the 4th of July meeting.....You guys are GOOD !! Happy Sunday to all !!! Relax, have an Irish Whiskey...and put a Duke flick on the DVD...TJ " The Lawman"

ROMY....Very nicely done...enjoyed it...Tough day here...10 inches of snow last nite..terrible driving/weather/wind...and my winshield wiper flew off driving home..which took 6 hours...So Hope you have a nicer weekend than this one Ive Got!!! Be well...The Lawman:beer:
