Viva Zapata! - I am not a fan of Marlon Brando, but this old movie about the hero of the Mexican revolution was WONDERFUL!

I agree with you Dukesfan. Haven't seen that one in quite awhile. However, I did see "Red River" again. Tiomkins' music is perfect.
We deal in lead, friend.

Dude Cowboy, one of Tim Holt's RKO westerns. Thanks to the Warner Archive, I have 20 Tim Holt westerns (in two 10-movie sets) to get through which means more than 20 hours of pure happiness.

Okay, finally got around to watching the new True Grit movie, and I have to say I enjoyed it. I didn't like Jeff Bridges part as Rooster, but I found the film enjoyable none the less.
I just miss good westerns, and wish Hollywood would make more.

Rango - not bad for a cartoon - Here is a short preview to let you know what it's about - (from Wikapedia) A pet chameleon (Johnny Depp) becomes accidentally stranded in the Mojave Desert after his terrarium falls from his owner's car. After meeting an armadillo named Roadkill (Alfred Molina), who is seeking the mystical Spirit of the West, he narrowly avoids being eaten by a red-tailed hawk. The next day, after having a surreal nightmare, he meets desert iguana Beans (Isla Fisher), a rancher's daughter, who takes him to Dirt, an Old West town populated by desert animals. - Big Jim
