Would anyone who cares to do so, please tell us a storey that involves themselves or people they knew. A little embellishment adds spice however the desire to represent truth should predominate.

Well this one is from a few years back, when my cousin and I were in the rocky mountains hunting for white tail. Well, we had decided to try one more road before we would go home,spying a road off of the main logging road in the mountains, we gunned his little Mazda truck,only to get about 1/2 of the way through the snow patch and then slid off the side of the embankment (about a 7foot drop)...no way of getting the truck out, we climbed out of the truck and up the embankment with our gear and headed back. Now this was....oct/nov and around 4pm so the sun was setting.
To make a long story short, walking through mountain logging roads was not fun, in the winter, and the cold was next to bareable. we made the 20miles in the pitch black in about 4 hours.
We were lucky as there was a drilling oil rig with workers when we came out of the road, if they had'nt been on shift we would have spent the night outside with just our gear on, so one of the men took us in his truck (a chevy 1/2ton) and went back and towed out our truck and we were on our way....quite the experience.
