"Flight" starring Denzel Washington, which is not for anyone squeamish about flying. Started out great but went on too long. I wanted to flee the room and have a cocktail before it ended (so I did).

Expendables 2, was alot better than the first and had some really good action scenes. Always nice seeing guys like Norris, Arnie, Van Damme, Sly etc
Avengers Assemble, nice action movie with most of the super heroes saving the world yet again.
Hey I've been promoted looking good.
Hyde Park on Hudson Bill Murray as FDR
"36 Hours" with James Garner and Rod Taylor on TCM today.
Interesting Army Air Corp training film "Resisting Enemy Interrogation" with a few familiar faces and produced by Ronald Reagan. On TCM today.
Tora! Tora! Tora!
Jay, I saw that one too and was fascinated. The best army training film I've ever seen.
Also saw "Attack on the Iron Coast" on TCM. That one had slipped by me. It started slow but got lively near the end. The other problem I had was taking Lloyd Bridges seriously after seeing the Hot Shots movies.

Iron Man 3 going to have to watch this again.
the green berets
Flight Of The Phoenix 1965 with an all star cast
James Stewart
Richard Attenborough
Peter Finch
Hardy Kruger
Ernest Borgnine
Dan Duryea
George Kennedy
Ian Bannen
Ronald Fraser
Flight Of The Phoenix 2004 starring Dennis Quaid, in my opinion not as good as the James Stewart one but worth a look if it ever comes your way.
Killer Joe an unpleasant film.
"Superman II"
Thats a coincidence I recently watched the Richard Donner cut of Superman II. You should check it out its much better than the theatrical cut because Brando is in it and it cuts out all the silly gags.
The Enforcer
die hard 5
The Thin Red Line, this film in my opinion takes some following, don't leave the room for anything or you may loose the plot but still worth a look.
Identity Thief with Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy. The DVD was pretty good. There are sexual situations in the movie, and of course language, but I was entertained. Not for the young and family friendly, but one for laughter.
Cheers Hondo
I too watched Identity Thief, i'm a big Bateman fan and can generally enjoy anything he's in, it was funny if a little over sentimental at times, a decent comedy.
Bullet To The Head with Sly Stallone, a very good action flick but I can see why it didn't do very well as it was pretty standard for the genre, wouldn't mind seeing Stallone do another film or two like this with the main focus on him, he's been sharing the spotlight in most of his recent films.
