"The Rock" - Sean Connery, a retired general (Ed Harris) fights against wrongs he believes the government did by stealing missiles and deadly gas to attack San Francisco.
Went to the movies twice yesterday. First one was Risen, story about a Roman Tribune, who's ordered by Pilate to make sure Jesus is dead and to make sure Jesus followers do not steal the body so they can proclaim He is risen. Thought it was a very good movie, even though there was a bit of fiction added with that plot line. Still, it was not irreverent to God or Jesus in any way and the actor who portrayed Jesus did a good job in the brief time he was on screen, and Joseph Fiennes was quite good as Tribune Flavius.
Second flick I saw was complete opposite as far as subject matter goes. I saw Deadpool, a superhero movie that is definitely not for the younger kids. A lot of good action, funny, but the language and innuendo's were quite nasty. However my son and I enjoyed it very much. Ryan Reynolds is Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool.
"To the Shores of Tripoli" - John Payne, our favorite leading lady Maureen O'Hara and Randolph Scott. A nice little story about the Marines prior to the beginning of WWII.
I also saw Risen.
Very good movie to see at Easter time.
Ricky and the Flash
Dreadful
Aloha
Lousy movie but better than Ricky
"The Talk of the Town" on TCM a few minutes ago. Cary Grant, Jean Arthur and Ronald Coleman. From 1942, Grant is accused of murder and arson. Coleman is the lawyer that eventually tries to find him not guilty.
"Crocodile Dundee" - Great story of an Australian character who meets a New York reporter and returns to New York with her and his adventures there.
Killers Kiss
Good movie that put Stanley Kubrick on the map and only 63 minutes long.
Spectre
Lesser Bond.
"Crocodile Dundee II"
Two episodes of the British police drama New Tricks.
Here Cones the Groom and Just For You
Two movies starring Bing Crosby and Jane Wyman where people burst into song for no reason.

Episodes of Cold Case & Without A Trace.
Lifeboat
Great Hitchcock written by John Stienbeck.
gunfight at the o.k. corral - brilliant western - best of my top3-movies with Kirk Douglas - the other two are ´ace in the hole´ and ´the vikings´
I've always (obviously) been a huge fan of everything oldies, and have, in the last couple of days, become quite a fan of M*A*S*H! I don't know why I never watched it before, it's on oldies stations all the time and is readily available. It's awesome! it's a fantastic "Dramedy" that shows the gritty, serious, and also very human aspects of war. Each episode seems to have a message to take away.. it's awesome! I've seen a few dozen episodes in the last day or two and will continue watching it!!
The Martian, good movie, highly recommended.
