By the way, have you noticed that Ammunition has gone up in price again. Justa few months ago it was over $11.00 for a box of 9MM at wally world. Last time I checked a few weeks ago-it was almost $14 for 50 rounds. I wonder how much 30-40 Krag ammo and 8MM Mauser ammos is going for these days? I only have two boxes of rounds for that puppy and only one box for my 9mm.

I can do ya better on the ammo. IF I can EVEN FIND a box of 45LC for my peacemaker (and they are almost impossible to find around here), they are currently running $35 - $50 per box of 50! Depending on where you shop ($35-$40 at the gun shows for re-loads, $45-$50 at Bass Pro, Gander Mountain, Etc). Still, I buy them whenever I can, and also for my shotguns, rifles, and black powder guns, just so I can keep some handy with hunting season here. But still, it is getting almost too expensive. Maybe I need to start reloading my own.

Hi Bob, JAysus. Is that .45 Cal Pistol ammo thats at that price? I was thinking of buying a .45 at one of the local shows. They sell for as low as $200-which is affordable. Im also looking for a Swiss made Sphinx-which is a .380 I think?

Yep. .45 Long Colt. Damn expensive! I don't know about the Sphinx. I think they come in 9mm and .45ACP. The ACP is a little cheaper and a little easier to find than the long colt.

I served in the US Navy for 20 years with every race, creed, color and religion there is. I have friends of every persuasion and I consider myself to be much more tolerant of the differences of others than these crazy liberals are. To be called a 'racist', to me, by people who don't know the meaning of the word is just insulting.

I think this is a perfect example of just what a modern day liberal is all about. If you don't agree with them on every aspect of what they preach and teach, then they say there is something wrong with you. You're either a racist, or a bigot, or, to quote Hussein Obama, you're just one of those ignorant backwoods types that "cling to their guns and religion." They aren't even true liberals! John Wayne had the best description of true liberals and those that call themselves liberals today:

“I have found a certain type calls himself a liberal . . . Now I always thought I was a liberal. I came up terribly surprised one time when I found out that I was a right-wing conservative extremist, when I listened to everybody's point of view that I ever met, and then decided how I should feel. But this so-called new liberal group, Jesus, they never listen to your point of view . . .Very few of the so-called liberals are open-minded . . . they shout you down and won't let you speak if you disagree with them.”

The so-called liberals today are really nothing more than radical militant socialists. Or, commies if you prefer. To me they're the same thing. They say they are all for equal opportunity and treatment, but what they really mean is that the so-called minorities should get preferential treatment over whites. Which is really nothing more than bigotry and discrimination because they are treating people differently simply because of the color of their skin. Whites who tow the liberal party line are tolerated only until they start to question or disagree. The same principle applies to Hussein Obama's policies, the socialized health care issue, the gun control issue, the environmental issues (including the global warming scam), and every issue these anti-America people put forth. They are NOT in favor of uniting America, they are in favor of a class system in America with the so-called minorities as the ruling and upper class. You can see that clearly by the way they talk and act. What happened to MKotyk24 is a perfect example.

If they would just listen to the words of John Wayne when he recited "The Hyphen" on the album America Why I Love Her, maybe they would understand. No, probably not. They believe what they want to believe and thats all there is to it. I met a fella once who told me, "I don't care what the truth is, I know what I believe." And that my friends, is a true liberal.

Hi Bob, 9 Mm sounds right. The one and only Model I have seen was about 10 years ago at a Corpus Christi Gunshop. I fell in love with the thing. These apparently-or at least were-hard to get. I like them because it fi my hands perfectly, and is a bit compact. I want to buy one--badly. I need a back up for my 9MM Walther P-38. I also want to buy a Walther P-5, but those sem to bein short supply as well.

Come to think of it, when I was at wally world, I didn't see any .45 ammo on their VERY bare ammo shelves. Even the 9MM is running short. They usually have two diff manufacturers for it on their shelves-Winchester and I forget the other brands name? ANyway, I like the Winchester brand the best but they almost never seem to have it availabe? at least here in ultra liberal Houston.

Im hopng that I can move back to Corpus Christi within a year. Im tired of the blatent liberalism thats being shoved down my throat here-even if my neighborhood seems to have more Conservatives in it than liberals. I want to get back with my own kind. At least when I went to bandera back in August, I found out that town is still full of gun-toting Conservatives. My kind of folks ;-))

Hi Bob, Stumpy and all, I read and agree with all the latest postings and such. I copied down Jethrobama Bodines quote as well as Dukes quote. Ill be sppreading this around on the War Traders Guild and www.ww2f.com websites-as starters. However, I will probably get banned from the ww2f site-because its ran mostly by liberals-which is a shame because it was scha good site but lately-especially THIS year, the libs are the ones allowed to voice theri opinions but if i voice mine? I get attacked by creeps from porugal, one from the RepubliK of Kalifornia, and two from England. However, I get my best support from several others who are from England, Scotland, Ireland, France, and East Coast USA. One thing I find disturbing, is a very SICK lack of support from Americans with some exceptions. I and one other guy-who is from the Communist-Socialist RepubliK of Massachutsetts-he gets bashed all the time as well. I have even had some of the WWII Veterans publicly side with me on several issues-and that sometimes shuts up some of the more rabid liberals on that site ;-)) One thing I have great praise and respect for-are WWII (and other Vets) Veterans. ;-)) All the ones I am fortunate enough to come across, are not afraid to speak their minds ;-)) Thank GOD, for Veterans.

I tried that link to sign up as well, but this site is running ultra slow for me today and I waited 15 minutes for it to open up for me-but it didn't-froze the computer in the process, and i had to switch off power and relog in again.

Speaking of Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity and Great Van Sustren, Fox showed those videos taken of some Kindergarteners singing songs of praise to obamalama ding dong. They also went as far as to sing to the tune of The Battle Hymn of the Republic, but all words changed to praise Jethrobama Bodine. I was so enraged after seeing that that had I not just taken a Propranalol pill my blood pressure surely would have topped the charts. Never had I ever thought that communist-like praise for a nations leader-like what I saw-would have been possible here on US soil.

I say that the teacher who came up with those songs-should be no less than fired from her job as well as that school Principal. If my kids happened to have been in that class? I think I would seek out Legal help in the possibility of a lawsuit against the teacher, the principal an the school district.

Now that im talking about that video-im making myself angry again so ill now stop ;-)) One thing I do wish for, is that some of you here would sign up at www.ww2f.com and give your opininions as well.
