Anyone here watching Le Tour de France races?

The Tour of California is in september or october is it not? I remember reading about it in the newspaper. No coverage on our TV I'm afraid.

Hi Ringo, I thought the Tour of California was around the same time as the Tour of Missouri of which we also had coverage in our newspaper. And I'm pretty sure that was in the fall. Never mind though, the more cycling the better!!!

Next week it is Paris-Nice. Do you get coverage for that race? It is a 4 days race.

I'll have to check the TV schedule on the off-chance it might be televised here!

I think you guys should live in this country. We get all the major races live on our tv. And the newspapers sure make you not to forget it's on! I should find someone who has a region free DVD recorder so I could have the Tour of Flanders and sent it out to you to see. The Tour of France is massive but nothing can beat the atmosphere of our tour!

Next sunday it's the Tour of Flanders but the sunday next is Paris-Roubaix and that is just as much important to us all here.

1976 with Merckx, Maertens, De Vlaeminck and Goodefroot. Wait untill about 6 minutes when Maertens takes that fall! Scary stuff

What a weekend we have had here! Saturday was the Tour of Flanders for the public, those people are just the same heroes for riding the 264 kms in harsh weather. And sunday... WOW what a race!! We haven't had one like that for a couple of years now. The whole family was gathered and had a ball. What a wonderful event!
