Sad. But I thought he had already passed.
Michele Carey (Joey El, Dorado) went to sleep November 21, 2018. She was only 3 years older than myself.

NEW YORK — Daryl Dragon, the cap-wearing "Captain" of "The Captain and Tennille" who teamed with then-wife Toni Tennille on such easy listening hits as "Love Will Keep Us Together" and "Muskrat Love," died Wednesday at age 76.
Dragon died of renal failure at a hospice in Prescott, Arizona, according to spokesman Harlan Boll. Tennille was by his side.
"He was a brilliant musician with many friends who loved him greatly. I was at my most creative in my life, when I was with him," Tennille said in a statement. Dragon and Tennille divorced in 2014 after nearly 40 years of marriage, but they remained close and Tennille had moved back to Arizona to help care for him.
My mistake, Christine McGuire died in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 28, 2018 at the age of 92. No cause of death was given.
Actually, she died in 2012. It was the older sister Christine who passed today at age 92.
EDIT: No problem. I could never tell one from another, myself.
Verna Bloom Dies: Versatile TV, Film, Broadway Actress Was 80
Verna Bloom, whose memorable turn as Marion Wormer in the 1979 comedy classic Animal House saw her immortalize cucumber innuendo, has died. She passed Wednesday in Bar Harbor, Maine from dementia complications, according to a family spokesperson.
Bloom had a long career in film, television and on the stage, spanning a wide range of roles in drama and comedy. She made her film debut in Medium Cool as a single mother mixed up in the violence of the 1968 Democratic National Convention. She also worked with Martin Scorsese in the comedy After Hours; played Mary in the The Last Temptation of Christ; was the lover of Clint Eastwood in High Plains Drifter (1973) and again joined him in Honkytonk Man.
Perhaps her most memorable film role came as Marion Wormer, the boozy but sexy wife of Faber College Dean Vernon Wormer in Animal House. Approached in the supermarket vegetable isle by Tim Matheson), they exchanged thinly vieled statements on cucumbers before engaging in a brief affair.
Born on Aug. 7, 1938 in Lynn, Massachusetts, Bloom graduated from Boston University in 1959. There followed a move to Denver, where she founded a local theater and produced local productions of Look Back in Anger and A Taste of Honey.
That led her to New York and Broadway, where she debuted in 1967’s The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat as Performed by the Inmates of the Asylum of Charenton Under the Direction of the Marquis De Sade.
On television, Bloom was the mother of Linda Blair’s character in the 1975 NBC TV movie Sarah T. — Portrait of a Teenage Alcoholic, and later played the wife of Frank Sinatra in 1977’s Contract on Cherry Street, another NBC movie drama.
Survivors include her husband Jack Cocks, a former film critic and two-time Oscar-nominated screenwriter; and a son, Sam.
This week we lost baseball great Frank Robinson and British actor Albert Finney. I enjoyed a lot of Finney's work; he was Daddy Warbucks but he'll always be the singng Ebeneezer Scrooge to me.
Being born and raised in Maryland, the death of Frank Robinson was pretty big news here. He was the catalyst for the Orioles run of 4 World Series between 1966 and 1971. he is the only man to have won the MVP in both leagues, and the only man to win Manager of the Year in both leagues. He was also the only man to hit a home run completely out of Memorial Stadium. I could go on and on, but you get my drift. The man was amazing! Rest in Peace, Frank. And thanks for the memories!
