Here in the UK we are just as shocked
and are saddened by what seems to be
a recurring nightmare -
my wife's brother died at 2.45am sat morning.he died of cancer.he had for the past year and half and in the end the end the cancer just spead like wildfire.
Sad to hear of your loss.
I suppose I count myself as one of the lucky ones
having so far survived three forms of cancer,
one only last year!
I still live to tell the tale.

All kidding aside, I am glad you are a lucky one. Cancer can be a scary diagnosis, for just the word is scary.

I know what havoc cancer can bring to a family, as I lost my mom to ovarian/uterine cancer a few moths before I turned 14. I had a younger brother who was 8 1/2.
My sister and two other brothers were older (26, 22, and 21), so they were a LITTLE more prepared, but it affected the rest of mine and mine little brother's lives... -
