Hello All
The grey overcast cold afternoon speaks of winters waning grasp on the land. We shall overcome and yet rejoice in the warmth of the sun. ciao murray -

:uhuh2: :uhuh2: :uhuh2: :uhuh2: No no....I dislike summer heat as much as Vampires hate sunlight. Try a typical summer here once and you would change your tune friend.

I am TOTALLY with you, Ringo!! I DETEST the hot weather.Thankfully, we are looking at cooler weather, maybe getting down to the thirties again overnight.

Here is a pic from my latest snowmobiling adventure. Not me in the picture, buddy of mine. My sled is the green and black one. We were 12 miles from Grand Portage, MN in the picture and we made it to the casino there for a lunch break, no gambling for me though, like to keep my money in my wallet . Grand Portage is about 5 miles from the Canadian border. Wish I was up there now!!

Hi Todd,
Your picture is great but anyway I dislike winter very much and it is lasted too long. The only thing I enjoy in winter is to ride a horse in a harnness without weels (don't remember how is it called in English).
Regards,
Senta -
Hi all
We have snow for the second day a row,
but with the sun shinning it doesn't lie to
long. But it is very, very cold at night. so
much for the start of spring.Emmanuel.

Hi Todd, Jay et el.
Todd, that really looks like loads of fun. I hope to be in such a climate within the next several years.
Jay, I definately hear ya on that. It is already hot outside the Museum.

Man, I am telling you, I don't know how you guys do it down there in the south. I get kranky if it gets above 80 up here. Thank god that only lasts a couple months.
-
It's been raining and it's been cold here lately, not very much fun.
-
Here are a few more pics of my trip, plus the snow!!! Sorry Senta, I love the snow!!!!!!!!!!!
The picture of the orange machine is a groomer which they take on the trails to smooth them out. The picture of me at the bar is what happens when things aren't so smooth!!!!

Great pics Todd,
The snow shots look good,
but that near empty beer glass looks bad!!! -
Not my beer, I usually wait till the end of the day to engage in adult beverages. Too many things can go wrong. Not to worry, I do have a couple drinks now and then though!!

Hi
Great pictures. We have just had snow or I suppose compared to you ours was more like a heavy frost you could still see the grass through the snow.

Speaking of snow, the snow level dropped to around 1000 feet (above sea level) locally, and that means snow on the nearby mountain tops, one of which is Mt. Hamilton.

We've rarely had snow at our house (we're only 350 feet above sea level), but it has happened since we moved into this house almost 18 years ago.
Todd, that cabin looks like something out of a JW movie - a neat old cabin!
