Hi All
Well summer time has started this side of
the pond. Clocks were put forward by one
hour, so we lost a hour in bed. Does this
happen where you live?
Emmanuel.

It sure does, only spring just started under a week ago. My clock goes forward easter weekend.

Hi Emmanuel, the same thing happens hewre in Texas though there are a few states that do not recognize the time change. I THINK one state is Arizona, if im not sadly mistaken. Personally, I wish the time would stay the way it now is. This can be confusing if one aint used to it.

Hi Emmanuel,
It does.
Regards,
Senta
Springing forward is my least favorite time of the year. Falling back is awesome though!!!
This year I will be in Vegas during the time change, so my night will probably be allot shorter!!
Hi all
I was having a look at the link Mrs C put up.
Carl was right when he said that Arizona does
not recognize the time change. But the Navajo
Nation participates in the daylight saving time
policy, even in Arizona, due to its large size and
location in three states.
Isn't it great to learn something new every day.
Emmanuel.
Hi Emmanuel, thanks for checking about Arizona. As with others here--it too is my least favorite time of the year--closely followed by our wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy tooooooooooooooooooooooo hot summers with a constant humidity factor of at least 80 or more percent. Makes one feel like these:
Hi Carl
We don't get temperatures as high as you do in
Texas. A good summer here is a week or two
without rain in July. You can always spot the
Irishman on holiday, he's the white washed one. B)
pale doesn't do justice to us, we make ghosts
look healthy. If the weather is good for more
than a few days(26c or 27c) we start to complain
about the heat. Long hot summers are just a long
lost childhood dream which I don't think ever happened.
Stay cool my friend.
Emmanuel.

Hi Emmanuel, ha haa, no wonder why I burn so easily as well as always had a real tough time trying to get a sun tan. Heh heh heh, now I KNOW why I dislike heat so much--it's in my family blood as I am part Irish as well as Norwegian and Cherokee Indian.
Well, at least you good people there do not have any snakes -- or so I have heard?
take care my friend.
hi Carl
That's quite a mix you have, the only snakes
we have are the two legged kind. St Patrick
got shot of the others, thank god.
Emmanuel.

Ha ha ha--thanks for making my day with that one.
Yep, i guess one can call me a: Mutt.
Forgot to mention that that I am part Welsh as well.
Ringo
You are beginning to sound like Martin Pawley from the Searchers. (No offence intended).
Hi Carl
Isn't there a old saying that goes something like,
"I may be many parts, but I'm all man"
Emmanuel.
Hi Robbie, no offence taken. Heh, at least the actor (Jeffrey Hunter) who played Pawley, was handsome.
Hi Emmanuel, I fully agree with that saying. Just ask: Baby Sis and Smokey.
Hi Carl
What should I ask the girls? Are you many parts?
Emmanuel.

Hi Robbie, and thanks. :-)) I don't do too badly with the local Ladies these days. One thing that has always helped me with them is that I pay attention to detail. Also, that I like to surprise them when possible--sorta makes things more interesting and keeps them wondering.
Marty and I could compete but, I think he'd lose out these days. I don't think he pays enough attention to them as he should.
