Looks like Mayor Giuliani is out. He didn't fair well in Florida where he put all his chips in and didn't pay off. And another victory for Senator McCain.
So now we go into Super Tuesday next week, and I was wondering who's state is in that primary. I'll start out and say that Alabama is on Super Tuesday. Is your state on Super Tuesday? And name your state.
Not asking which party your voting in or who you are voting for either. I don't know who I am voting for yet.

another victory for Senator McCain.
McCain is just another Bob Dole. And will suffer the same fate in November's election, I imagine. -
It seems incredible the way Rudy Giuliani gambled everything on winning Florida and having the momentum for Super Tuesday. I share Stumpy's fears about Mc Cain because of his weakness Hillary Clinton could slip in and win.
Looks like a long dirty campaign until November. -

Looks like conservatives like me are in for a drought. There are so many "Republicans" leaving Congress that I think they see the handwriting on the wall too. Oh well, we survived Slick, I guess we can survive the Wicked Witch.
Times like this I'd like to see a military coup. -
Wonder would John Mc Cain pick Rudy Giuliani for the VP spot?

Stumpy,
I couldn't disagree with you more than the statement above. No one and I mean no one is in the same class as Bill Clinton. No man has reached the lows that Bill Clinton has, and you know that. Romney and McClain are not like Bill Clinton. That man has diminished the presidency like no other human being ever has. No President has ever criticized another President but Clinton has. And Jimmy Carter has picked up the habits which has shown the kind of class he has. Clinton has done for the first time in American history as President sitting or not has done nothing but made bad comments to just about every President in this country including Kennedy (his idol).
You may not like Romney, Huckabee, or McCain, but don't compare them to Bill Clinton! That is the most despicable man on this planet. And his wife is worse.
Cheers
Hi Mike, I fully agree with you not only on this post but, the first one you made on the same page as this post is on. WELL-SAID!!!!! -
Who's having their election next Tuesday on Super Tuesday, and what state are you from? Choices are getting slimmer. I think I know who I'm going to pull the lever for.

Pulling the lever does bring up some funny mental pictures. The final scene of Bride of Frankenstein with Boris Karloff pulling the lever on the unlovable Bride or a final visit
to your local electric chair!!
Anyway lets hope Tuesday brings some interesting results.

This might dramatically increase the turnout at the voting booth . . . .Chester

Conservatives like me are faced with one hell of a dilemma. I loathe John McCain with a passion and yet it's looking like he's gonna be the only alternative to the socialists.

I wonder who Ann (Coulter) will vote for if Shrillery doesn't get the Democratic nod?

Our state, California, will be one of the states with a primary election next Tuesday. Not sure who will still be running by then. As you say, the choices are getting slimmer by the day, as candidates drop out of the race.

Reading about our "unlovely couple" during their first time in the White House makes me hope something stops them before the nominations are complete.
It is too leaving it too much to chance to hope she is defeated in a Presidential election.
Roll on Tuesday

Today is election day and I did my part and voted. It was a hard decision, but I did make a decision. It would have been easier if I voted uncommitted, but that's the easy way out. We do have hard decisions to make. But keeping the Clintons out of the White House is the goal. The second goal is to get them out of Washington. Happy election day.

This is a night to remember. The Democrats have their two winning candidates splitting in the states tonight. As for the GOP, well, I guess it is a big night for McCain.
Just reported that McCain and Clinton take California. A big win for them. Not sure for America. Obama has vowed to tax everybody to the hilt. And that's inspiring?
He is also making a vow to bring the soldiers home and tell everybody to be nice. He can do that. What a dreamer! And the idiots are buying it. They want a change, and we may get it.
Better save your money and bury it in your back yard. You may need it if they don't find it and tax you to death.

Huckabee and Obama took Alabama today. I didn't vote for those two, so I guess I wasted my vote. How did your state do?
