Does anyone here, go to a website to watch an old classic TV show?

I found a few sites listed where one can go to see some TV show. Sites such as:

www.tv4u.com

www.alloftv.net

www.tv-links.co.uk

and

www.allvc.org

Just wondering because I cannot access any of these using cheapo library computers and I would like to know what you all think about such sites?

If your accessing from a library or a university there is a possibility they are blocking those types of sites. Technically they are illegal for showing copyrighted material. If you did get to one there is a good chance that the software you need to view them with isn't installed on a library computer. Hi Dakota, I bet you are correct on this as why the Library is probably blocking the sites. What gets me about the library is, that on select computers, they allow a person to sign up for I think 2 hrs, and those can be used to view porn.

Tbone, and guess how that happened. A few years ago, a homeless man sued the public library that they were somehow (for my lack of better wording) impending his rights on accessing some information. Guess what? he won the lawsuit and now (at least here in C.C.) you can view porn. All you have to do is to sign a sheet and hand over an I.D. Disturbing and disgusting.

GT, thanks for checking that site out. I remember about 20 years ago that A&E used to play Jack Benny and also The George Burns/Gracie Allen Show. I stayed up late to watch these instead of M*A*S*H and david lettermen. If I recall, I think after those played, they had Dobie Guillis and then The Honeymooners on.

Dakota, sorry to say but, nope. The changes were made do to a lawsuit. That homeless guy got the local chapter of the a.c.l.u. to sue the City. Really is a sad world we are living in these days.

Hi GT, would like very much to see Burns and Allen. On the computer part, im still trying to work out a del with this guy I know about buying some collectables I have that I no longer want to lug around. I would be happy if I could get $500.00 or so, for all four boxes of stuff (valued around $2,000) but not sure what the market will bear?
