    A series was done in England & America and hosted by Rick Wakeman of the rock group Yes on John Newton and the song Amazing Grace. Tells of when he wrote the piece, how it was overlooked for years until it became important and popular in America. Covers how Amazing Grace touched the hearts during the recovery of 911.
    It is excellent.

    The movie Amazing Grace about William Wilberforce is also an excellent one to watch.

    THANK you for posting that! Excellent special, with very interesting interviews. I loved hearing Judi Collins sing that song . . . the voice of an angel.


    Rick Wakeman, who I haven't heard of or thought of in decades, was a good host.


    And you are right, the movie Amazing Grace is also very good.
