Sadly--yup. I just found out 2 days ago that they charged me an extra $22++ for a movie i didnt order. Now I have to wait for the package to arrive, then a return slip, then they have to get the movie back in before I get my refund. A few years ago they were much different. To top that off, they sent my latest 3 dvds in an unprotected plastic bag-and I had requested they not do that because, back in Feb, I had three that came in the same type bag--all were damaged with puncture marks through them. They DONT--listen to ones needs or complaints and this last one-is almost the straw that broke the camels back--for me. I wonder if Amazon.com has better prices and better movie selection that DDDvD" If so--ill never order from DD again.
I bought last Thursday, War Horse from Movie Stop. I got the BlueRay, DVD, Digital Copy version. The movie was really good. Haven't seen the extras yet, but like to option of having both or all three. Not sure about the digital copy but exploring this for my computer/cell phone. Highly recommend the movie. The options on the online is not as good as it use to be, and I don't order like I use to, but I have slowed down on the purchasing of movies. The new ones are not that good, and the old ones don't release like they use to.

I didn't know that Fort Apache was released on BlueRay. I happen to see it out a few weeks ago at Target, so I purchased it. It was distrubed by Warner Brothers. And paid $14.00. Wish to see the rest of the trilogy released very soon.

Today, just bought: te: Errol Flynn Adventures box set. Had 5 of his War Movies in it. Also got: Operation Secret w/ Cornel Wilde, Karl Malden and Paul Picerni. Also got: Don't Go Near the Water w/Glenn Ford, Earl Holliman and Keenan Wynn. I love this movie and it SHOULD have been released years ago.
The last two movies I bought were the Blu-ray versions of Hugo and The Incredible Hulk. Got them at Best Buy. Hugo was on sale for $17.99 and with a $5 coupon, I got it for $12.99. The Hulk one was on sale for $9.99 and with a $5 coupon, it was $4.99.
Bought Cowboys and Aliens, not bad, not bad.

Beachhead w/ Frank Lovejoy, Tony Curtis, John Doucette and Skip Homeier. Seen bits and pieces of this movie through the years but never from end to end and in a single sitting too. Not bad, not bad at all.
I bought in the last few days, The Barbarian and the Geisha on the Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack. Well, it is a John Wayne movie.

Beach Red and Run Silent, Run Deep. 2nd one was great but B.R. needed more talent with it though I thought that Cornel Wilde did a good enough job of it.

Please let me know what you think on this one? I want to see it badly. This version will be the accurate version pf what happened withOUT spiked leeches propaganda. Also, Bombers were indeed lost on raids even with these men escorting them. It is a MYTH, that they never lost a bomber when they escorted them. However, they DID do a fantastic job!!!!!!!!!!
I received a post dated birthday present of Red Tails. Looking forward to seeing this movie sometime this weekend. It is the area of my back yard, figuratively speaking. Tuskegee is about 50 miles from my house. Thinking this is a winner. Got in Blu-ray version.

Pre ordered Rio Grande on Blu Ray as the price keeps going up and it's not out till August!
If it goes the same way as Johnny Guitar it will have gone up by $10 in a week so get in there early.
Will not be ordering till 1st week in June:
1) Breakthrough. I think this is about the 45th ID and has John Agar in it.
2) Qunatrill's Raiders (IF, back in stock.) If not in stock--this one will be: Mutiny--w/ Gene Evans and Mark Stevens.
3) Fighter Squadron w/ Robert Stack. Uses great combat footage.
4) Thunderbirds (IF in stock) w/ Gene Tierney and Preston Foster. This movie is about the 45th Infantry Division in WWII.
Just received Blues of "Zulu" and "Cleopatra" which are for sale on Amazon UK and are all region playable.
Have on order: "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", "Hondo", "Ironclad", "From Russia With Love" and "Rio Lobo".
I read that GBU was not very well upgraded on Blue and I'm buying "Ironclad" blindly because a friend described it as a combination of Prince John meets the Magnificent Seven at the Alamo.
What the hell?
We deal in lead, friend.
