How's The Weather

Were gloriously overcast today-cooler than yesterday thanks to the clouds ;-)) I think we has a small amount of rain sometime during the night?

We got a good rain this evening, and about to get cooler temperatures. The weather was rough around us with severe storms around but we didn't get it too bad. Tomorrow is suppose to be sunny and cooler in the low 60's.

We have had some good rain so far this month (January 2008) but it is not falling in the dam catchment areas. This makes a good change as we haven't had good rain for 9 years. Hopefully we will get some more before the end of the wet season. Temperatures are currently up around 29 - 30 C ( 84 - 88 F) however humidity is around 90%. Slightly uncomfortable but worth the wait.

Still Cold & Frosty!!!

I had to drive to work this morning in some serious lightning, thunder, and heavy (but much needed) rain this morning. Kevin, how was the weather up your way?

a sunny day for the first time in a while humity is high reading 31C at the moment, have a breeze blowing hope it will help to cool us down or at least drop the humity.

Glad to see some of you are finally getting much needed rainfall. Now it's our turn here to be one of those who is in need of rain.

Today is very warm-not very humid-which is OK by me.

Very nice day that was seasonable today. We had a good rain last Thursday night, and it was over an inch. We are suppose to get colder late next week. Anyway, it is really nice right now.

Gloriously overcast and with the prospects for rain all day tomorrow. Slightly cooler and a little breezy.

It's trying to rain today (and forecast for tonight and tomorrow morning), but so far the precipitation has amounted to little more than spit. Temps on the cool side.

Still very Moist!!

Been mostly cloudy today with temps in the mid 50's. Suppose to be close the freezing tonight with a good chance of rain tomorrow only going into the 40's. So we are looking at a cold rain. And temps dropping after the front goes through. Gonna be cold this weekend.

Once again, the weather forcasters said we should get some good rains this time around.
BAH! All we got was slippery drizzle which was instrumental in over 50 vehicular accidents in the area.

We got your rain yesterday/this morning Jay. It all started about 2 PM yesterday afternoon with a light sprinkle gradually building up into a light rain turning heavier after dark and down-right heavy from about 9 PM to about 3 am then tapering off and now is not raining nor many clouds in the sky. (How's that for a long sentence? ;-))

Well, we got a good dose of rain today with a mixture of sleet, and freezing rain today. The rain is over for now. And the temps are about to drop down on Friday. Tomorrow is a overcast day with temps getting up as high as around 50. Might get some rain on Friday. This is winter here in the south in Alabama. Hope to see more rain.

It was snowing BIG flakes here, and the ground is white!

We have the cold on the way, -5 F for high on Saturday is what they are predicting. We got about 2-3 inches of snow, we were suppose to get 4-9, guess the weather guy was smoking something.
