  • On this New Year's 2009 day, we are sunny and rather cool this day. We were around 32F to bring in the new year and had a low of the upper 20's. At noon CST we are at 49F. Suppose to be in the mid to upper 50's with some wind. It is really a nice day to bring in 2009.

    Cheers  Hondo

  • What a weekend. It was hot, hot, HOT! Does that sound familar? We were in the mid 70's today and still at about 10 pm (central) we are still in the mid 60's. Our normal high is in the mid 50's and we're not going to get that low tonight. But we have rain in the forcast; a slight chance tomorrow but a greater chance on Tuesday with server weather a big possibility with the big "T" meaning Tornado!

    Stay tuned.

    Cheers

  • Still on the weather merry-go-round. Chilly here today but expected to warm up by midweek. We had a promise of 80% rain for today, but nothing but a mist has materialized.

  • We had a pretty good storm. It happen throughout the night last night but we got an inch of rain. We are getting better temperatures now. We had a high of 60F which is 16C. It was very windy today, and we are going to be in the mid 60's tomorrow. In the upper 30's tonight.

Next week we are getting an arctic blast from Canada which will get us in the low 40's maybe only getting as high as the upper 30's. As for the perception, well, they are not talking about the white stuff, but they haven't ruled it out.

    Cheers

  • Well we in the UK are still gripped in the ice age,
with even soccer matches being canclled.
Temps plunging down to minus 12-20C In some places.
Been about minus 6 where we live, but seems a bit warmer today

    Best Wishes

  • We've been on a roller coaster here for several days. We would be flirting with record highs and now record lows. We've had rain, and may be getting snow by mid week.

Right now we've had a good day of rain yesterday with temperatures in the upper 60's, today we are cloudy and highs of around 50 with a low of 32 tonight. I think we are clearing up by tonight. Tomorrow we are to get to the mid 50's before we go into the 20's for lows for the rest of the week.

Come on for the ride, you'll get just about everything here.

    Cheers

  • Well, its been kind of a snow drought here lately. Suppose to get 1-3 inches tonight into tomorrow. Then the bottom will drop out of the thermometer. Highs this week are predicted to be -5F and lows -15F to -20F.

All I can say is . . . BR-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r! Todd, it sounds like you need some of the snow that's falling other places, in large quantity!

We hit 65 degrees today! Too warm for winter.

  • In a word . . . . . . . Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! The bottom fell out today and tomorrow. We are getting cold (by Alabama standards, Todd). We are going to be around 15F tonight, and on in the upper 30's tomorrow. Then tomorrow night we are going to have a heat wave at 17F by Saturday morning. Plenty of sun but cold with wind. The artic express has made its way to the South. We are below freezing right now.

    Cheers

We're right on the fringe of this arctic blast, so we're not quite so affected. Temps down near freezing at night and 40s and 50s during the day. We're supposed to get a warm-up by next week.
