  • "Battle of Britain", one of my favorite war movies. I love the sound of those reciprocating Rolls Royce aircraft engines in the Spitfires.

Has some really great aerial dogfighting scenes. I still don't know how they came up with all the Spits, Stukas and the other prop-driven aircraft to make that movie. But the aerial battle scenes looked very realistic, so surely they were using real planes.

Finally managed to locate some (hopefully accurate) info about the authentic-looking aircraft used in this film.

And you Right about The Sound of Those Rolls Engines, I was lucky to have Flown a ME-109 with one of those Engines in it, but it sounds Much Better from on the Ground than in The Cock-Pit !!

  • I watched the first and second part of horatio hornblower. Maybe its kinda cheesy but i liked that mini series or whatever there called real well. Maybe cause not much is made in line of movies for that time era.

  • Just watched "Righteous Kill" with Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro. Somewhat predictable story of two cops tracking down a murder of the bad guys. But it was Pacino and DeNiro, together. And though the entire flick didn't pull me in as much as the single diner scene from Heat, it was entertaining.

Was also subjected to "Unbreakable" despite my pleas to my sis and her boyfriend that it was almost akin to torture the first time I watched it. Consensus after? "That movie was not executed very well at all." I tried to warn them...

  • i just seent he newest Fast and Furious movie. and let me see i loved it!!!!! and in addition to that..... Paul Walker and Vin Diesl are most def. the sexiest looking men in america!

  • Casino Royale, I thought it was a horrible attempt at a james bond movie and sorry james bond compared to Sean Connery and the old ones. Im sure some liked it, but it wasnt to my taste.

Oh God, don't get me and Stumpy started!!! :) J/K!!

I really liked the first Daniel Craig Bond flick and I think Stumpy did as well. It's the 2nd one( Quantum of Solace ) that we disagree on. I liked it as a sequel to the first one. As a standalone movie, it was not that good, and will someone please stop with the "shaky camera" crap!! We get it, they are being chased, in a hurry, going over a bumpy road, ect.....Just let me see that action without puking!!

Life is hard, its even harder when your stupid!!

Raiders of the Lost Ark Still Brilliant after 28 years

Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones is brilliant, all four Indy movies are brilliant! I have to watch them again soon...

Yesterday I watched "His Majesty O'Keefe" starring Burt Lancaster. - A fine traditional adventure!
