Due Date & Jack Black's Gulliver's Travels-glad I didn't spend money to see them...

I've been watching a movie this morning that's kind of a cross between a Western and a war movie. "Rough Riders" with Sam Elliot, Tom Berenger and several other second-rate actors. It wasn't bad, though not great either.
-
the women in green,a pretty good sherlock holmes entry.
-
Braveheart with Mel Gibson. A long time since I've seen this one. Good movie with great battle sequences. Ridley Scott & others should take note how its done.
-
The Middle Men with Luke Wilson. Deals with the start in the internet porn industry-has james Caan as a slimey lawyer, Kelsey Grammer in a cameo, and other familiar faces. Actually quite good.
-
"Sin City" - a film mostly by Robert Rodriguez with an assist by Quentin Tarentino. Somewhat confusing amalgamation of three of Frank Miller's stories from his graphic novels.

Hi
Role Models wierd film and enough said.

"Clash of the Titans" - the remake with Sam Worthington. Had a few twists from the original, but had great CGI.
-
i went home this weekend and my dad had rented A-Team the movie remake based off the TV show. we both really enjoyed it but my dad said it wasn't as good as the show but that they did do a pretty good job of casting.

My biggest complaint lies in the fact that Hannibal didn't have a plan near the end of the movie.

"Thank You for Smoking" - Mild and forgettable satire on the cigarette industry.

Snatch a Guy Ritchie film. love it yet no shortage of truth in the depiction of chaos that living on the wrong side of the law can bring.
-
I love the movie, Snatch. When I first watched it, I almost turned it off , as it tended to jump around at first. But I am glad I stayed with it. It is a very good film which I have watched several times.

"Mighty Joe Young". Starring Ben Johnson and a big ape; a fun but corny "made for kids" comedic remake or semi-sequel of "King Kong" from the same crew that made the original. John Ford and Merian C. Cooper, the same team behind "The Cavalry Trilogy", "The Searchers", and "The Quiet Man" were the prodcuers.
Cowboys and a giant monkey! What more does a movie need?! -
"Semi-Tough" - vintage seventies film with Burt Reynolds, Kris Kristofferson and the late Jill Clayburgh. Football oriented flick.

I could not agree more. One fun movie to watch.
