I hope to God that this sentiment regarding Congress lasts until November 2010. We sure do need to throw all the bums out and start over.
We must pray the citizens of our fine beloved America take their mental vitamins, and not suffer a case of forgetfulness.

Hi Murray, im sorta dieting too. However, at leat once a week I deviate and have been going to this Mexican Restaurant that is about a 1/2 mile walk from the house. I love therir tea, their food, their atmosphere and their music. However, im afraid I probably made my last visit to them last week because were about to relocate to Austin and for me-that relocate is only temporary as im eventually moving back to Corpus Christi if all goes well?
Anyway, all this talk about food is making me hungry ;-)) -

You can bet your boots those Lemmings WILL forget. Im not counting oin much of anything changing for the better. However, depending on how those Gov races for Virginia and New Jersey go-should tell us how the next few years are also going to go especially with the clowns that are now in top office. -
I read that there were over 50 American casualties in Afghanistan in October that is such a high price to pay by the US sometimes I wonder ifit's too high. No one likes to see the bully win a fight but the people there having been fighting amongst themselves for so long. I would be glad to hear other opinions. I don't raise this subject lightly nor with a lack of respect for those involved.

I'm sure you remember, Murray, that Afghanistan was the training ground for al Qaeda terrorists who attacked the U.S. on 9/11/01. The country was then controlled by the Taliban, Muslim fanatics who were ousted shortly after that attack and who are currently trying to regain control in Afghanistan. (They're also trying to take over Pakistan). If, because we give up and pull out, they do manage to regain control, not only will they resume brutalizing the non-fanatics in Afghanistan, but they'll undoubtedly become again a haven for the al Qaeda terrorists. These people are hell-bent on imposing sharia (Muslim law) throughout the world. Now I don't know about you but I have no desire to live under a system that treats women like dirt (among other indignities). -

If this freak who is currently in charge of our great nation would quit playing golf and basketball, and make SOME decision on what to do in Afghanistan, we might just not be losing so many Soldiers over there if they actually had any support from that socialist garbage thats in Washington.
Sorry for some strong words used-just whenever I think about those politician cowards-I really get ripped. Oh and, this isnt directed at you at all Murray ;-)) Im just letting off some steam. -

The similarities are FDR wanted war to pass his policies, and so does Obama. The only difference is FDR didn't want war here, but Obama does.
Obama will never condemn a fellow Muslim, especially a radical.Hopefully America will wake up and see their leaders for who they really are and vote them out.

I agree wholeheartedly, but in order for the votes to actually count the people votes have to be the deciding factor.
