The deep freeze has left our part of the state on Saturday afternoon, but the rain returned that evening. Not a bad rain. We are a little above normal in temperature (60F). We are going to be more seasonable for the next few days with cool evenings. No rain forecast until the end of the week, but we fared well considering the frigid temperatures late last week. We didn't get below 20F throughout this period.

we had a little bit of snow here this afternoon - here on the north west coast of england we don t get much snow, just rain, so when it snows we all get really excited - we were all making jokes about being snowed in at work etc.. etc... and then about 2 minutes later it had stopped and turned to rain - oh well...

We are in the mist of a major swing. We flirted with 20F this morning going up to around 60F this afternoon and tomorrow we are going to be at 70F. Rain coming Saturday. We have been in a Southern deep freeze this week, but going to be rather warm for a while.

We're coming out of a period of unseasonally warm temperatures into a cooling trend. We had almost an inch of rain today, with some more showers forecasted for the next few days, but I don't expect it will be enough to get us out of our drought.

We got some good rain today. So good it is like a relaxing feeling I have on a lazy day. Highs in the mid 50's today and tomorrow, but some warmer weather next week going into the 60's.

What a day! We hit 77F today while just north of us a large portion of the midwest and upper southeast had a pretty big ice storm. We will get rain tonight after midnight and then we get cold and I mean cold. We will drop some 50 degrees in the next 36 hours. And stay cold for a while. Rain coming tonight and tomorrow, then clearing.

Well, yet another night of driving rain, but at least it's a bit milder.
Just bracing ourselves for gale force winds this weekend.
Not quite Texas style, but blowy for us.

Now this might be interesting next week. I will be heading for Miami next Wednesday for a convention and the weather is suppose to be nice. But here on Monday, we might be in for some white stuff. If the formation is just right we will be in for a winter wonderland. Anyway, tonight around freezing and tomorrow a high of about 50F. Sunny skies and windy. Not a bad weekend as tempatures will go up, but it's Monday that could be interesting.

This is a very nice day. We are clear with very little wind at 62F outside. Just the calm before the storm. But really enjoying this day.

We are 10C(51F) today. People wearing short sleeves since it was 20F only a few days ago and the temperature feels so warm. The warm temp help melt all the snow we got.:teeth_smile:
