One thing that I look forward to every 4th of July is our town's fireworks. They always have music that accompanies the fireworks, and right before the grand finale they always play the Duke reading the Pledge of Allegiance. I love it. :lol: I would be so disappointed if they ever left that part out.

Happy 4th to you all. I know mine should be because im watching only movies with The Duke in them.

Thanks to all you Cowboy and Cowgirls from Across the Big Pond on this Day for us Yanks. Duke Loved this Holiday and all the Fire Works in the Night Sky over Newport Harbor later at Night from His Back Yard at his house in Newport Beach.

I have spent the Day watching Fort Apache, She wore a Yellow Ribbon and Rio Grande the Duke's and Ford's three Great Horse Soldier Films, and I see something new every time I watch them.

I know others around the globe are not involved with our holiday, and we Americans hope you have a great day as well, and know that freedom is for all of us, and we want to recognize those who are fighting for our freedom today, which includes those in other nations as well. We are proud of each and every one of them, and pray that peace will come to each and every one of us soon.

Last year on this day we had an American fleet in Portsmouth.
This year the USS Saipan was moored in the Solent for the Queen's review.
As I did then I would like to do now and just like to wish everyone in the United States a very Happy and more importantly a peaceful A Happy Fourth of July
