  • Is Obama going to win easily? Over here they seem to think he's a shoe-in for President. Can McCain turn it round and win? Will it make any difference to our special relationship with America that we in Great Britain have?

  • The press ALWAYS thinks the liberal candidate is a shoe in... Can't go by what the press says... about anything....

You can roll a turd in powdered sugar but that doesn’t make it a doughnut.

  • Obviously, media bias is starting to aggravate lots of other people, as shown by the decline in readership of most big newspapers.

I think more and more people are going to the web to find news that is less biased than that displayed by the so-called "mainstream media".

    EXCELLENT article, Stumpy!

I wish more people knew (and believed!) and understood what is shared in the article.

Maybe not Obama personally, smokey, but Democrat bureaucrats in positions to do so have tried to stop the counting of military ballots because they know most GIs are not for Obama.

  • They all have opinions, even if there not from this country.

I truly believe that Danny should have kept his opinion to himself because I think it will damage his standing with a lot of people, just as it did with me. I'll probably go ahead and watch "Quantum" but it sure won't be with the same degree of enthusiasm for his performance as I felt with "Casino Royale".

  • I don't know 'bout y'all but whoever wins Tuesday, I'll be so damned glad this ceaseless campaigning is finished that I may celebrate by taking the wife out to dinner. It seems like this crap has been going on forever and ever.

Wish they'd pass a law to limit the duration of political campaigns.

  • thanks for that stumpy, hope they didnt get it through as i feel that everyone should get a chance to say who is going to govern them for the next 4 years

    cheers smokey

  • One more day of this @#*$:vomit: campaigning and we're through with it, regardless of who wins. Amen:gah:

I read a sub-paragraph title in a news article yesterday that said "the 2012 campaign begins Wednesday". I'm sure it was written with tongue at least halfway in cheek but I still almost puked.

  • Miss him? It's been all downhill for Republicans since his departure from office. The two "Republican" presidents who came after him have, IMO, been total disasters and I see that others agree with me.

I miss him dearly. And I don't want to sound like a gushy, sappy, fanboy. I was in the Navy from 1984-89 and aside from him being "my" commander and chief at the time, I had nothing but respect for him, his values and the things he did as a president. Miss him?? Hell yeah I do, I think if we found a person to embrace what he was from the republican party, they would never loose another election.

  • Reagan brough back patriotism to the many Americans who were turned off during the Vietnam war. The night USA beat Russia and the night the Berlin wall came down those were times that were able to melt the hearts of any die hard liberal even if for only a minute.
    Those were good times.
